After considering a few different options for shocks to compliment the Corvette C5 suspension and give us the handling that we wanted for the prototype Ligero, we decided on Bilsteins for the job. Like Christmas come early they turned up neatly wrapped and shiny!
Once the shocks were snugly in place some wheels could be attached to the chassis and we were officially at the “rolling chassis” stage. The hubs were yet to be drilled for the Lambo wheels, so the first set of treads that the Ligero got were Rat Rod style, but it was rolling none the less!
Bodywork development had been moved to the Joe Bradley Fibreglass factory and it was time for the chassis to be united with the rear bodywork to make sure that the panel development would fit perfectly. The rolling chassis was loaded up and off it went.
